"La Carimali" was set up in 1919, one of the first factories producing coffee machines, located in Milan, as the majority of the others at that time.
Athos Carimali, pioneer of coffee machines, was the first of a long series of managers who ran "La Carimali", and gave the first, difficult impetus to the production and trade of such new equipment, still unknown in the whole world.
Only eventually, starting in the 50's, under "Commendator" Dubini's guidance, a man of great capacity and reliability, "La Carimali" became very popular not only in the home market, but also in the European and extra European markets, standing out for high quality standards, further enhanced starting from the 80's, thanks especially to the brand new release of the "super automatic machine".
This new product, which is taking over traditional machines, has now become the best seller of "Carimali S.p.A.", which is by now one of the world leaders in this field. As a matter of fact, Carimali coffee machines are largely widespread in the major European markets, in Asia, North America, Australia and New Zealand. The numbers are further increased by the brand new models released by the efficient R & D department of Carimali, which is now located in the new, modern factory in Chignolo d'Isola.

Technical department
A highly qualified staff of technicians and designers is engaged in developing new products and upgrading the existing ones, by means of the most technologically advanced tools. A key-role is played by the investments in technology and design, allowing Carimali to keep up with the latest trends in the market and launch brand new products at a very fast rate.
Carimali is also ready to customize the products to meet customers' requirements.

Production
The premises, which contain the production line, cover an area of 5.000 m2.
- Warehouse - run by automated shelves linked to a computerised system.
- Assembly and testing lines - movable and efficiently equipped
- Mechanical workshop - equipped with all the necessary machine tools to produce any kind of samples.

Technical assistance
It runs all pre- and after-sales services, providing prompt assistance in real time; it also takes care of the clientele's qualification and training. Periodical and updating technical courses are organised at the head office or at the clientele's premises.
Carimali also provides complete paperwork documentation, such as instructions manuals, exploded views, etc, available in several languages, as well as spare parts and cleaning detergents to keep coffee equipment at their top performing quality standards.
